    Muchmore’s Gastropub & Wine Bar, formerly known as Muchmore’s, is pleased to announce its grand opening Tuesday, September 5th at 7:00 PM. Returning with a revamped two-thousand square foot Gastropub that boasts an extensive food and wine menu, the mission is to bring the community together and offer elevated pub fare highlighting the best of New American and New Orleans cuisine. Serving a wide variety of refreshing draft beers, fine wines, champagne and espresso, the 75-seat corner restaurant includes a beautiful and intimate bar room, a Gastropub inspired dining room, and a plethora of outdoor seating on the corner of N 9th and Havemeyer in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Dish highlights include, Firehouse Jambalaya, local wild-game Sausage Board, Wagyu Muchmore’s Burger, New Orleans Beignet Bites and Caviar. From 2012 to 2020, Muchmore’s was an entertainment venue and neighborhood institution known for its accessibility and dedication to the arts. The venue proudly hosted an array of live music performances, comedy and debates. For its next decade, Muchmore’s Gastropub & Wine Bar is excited to bring the excellent food, drink & joie de vivre of the partners’ native New Orleans and Greek Heritage to the neighborhood.     Muchmore's Gastropub & Wine Bar in Williamsburg, Brooklyn seeks talented culinary professionals to join the family. The executive team is looking for motivated, passionate and detail oriented individuals holding 3-5 years previous experience in a fast-casual restaurant environment. Our open positions include, FRONT OF HOUSE ASSOCIATES: Server, bartender, host BACK OF HOUSE: Sous Chef, Cook, Dishwasher, Busser, Runner Front of House Jobs Summary: Our servers, bartenders and hosts positions demand a personable individual who is able to provide service with a smile. These customer-facing positions are critical to the satisfaction of our guests as well as the long term success of the Gastropub and Wine Bar. Front of House Jobs Requirement: Willing and able to naturally introduce oneself to guests by name and frequently check-in at the table or bar throughout the dining experience Taking customer orders with ease, providing information about specials and promotions Be an expert on the menu, making recommendations Develop a calm and relaxed exchange with all guests Be a constant lead-contact for your assigned table or bar seat to ensure guests have a positive, satisfactory experience Communicating well with kitchen staff and showing patience; humor is always a plus Serving food, drinks and clearing tables where needed; a can-do attitude whenever there may be temporary or sudden staffing void Assure accuracy in the point of sale system and guests' dining bills Be punctual, tardiness or a no-show will not be acceptable Back of House Job Summary & Requirements: Our Chef and kitchen crew are the talented invisible-hands who greatly contribute to the overall satisfaction of our guests' experience. Back of House team members must be able to carry forth adequate preparation of all menu items prior to service including but not limited to, mains, salads, breads, soups, dips and desserts. Must ensure superior quality and consistency in food preparation, cleanliness of the kitchen and the entirety of the Gastropub Back of House staff report to the GM and Head Chef; must maintain a positive, roll-up-your-sleeves kind of attitude Bussers and Dishwashers clean and support smooth operations throughout all shifts; must follow all safety and sanitation procedures General Qualifications to join the Muchmore's team: Must be at least 18 years old with reliable transportation to work. Digital Marketing Graphic Design Assistant. We seek a part-time Digital Marketing & Graphic Design Assistant to: Carry forth the brand identity of Muchmore’s Gastropub & Wine Bar through storytelling and product promotion. Design flyers & promotional assets covering product highlights, wine education classes & live brunch bands. Design, author & dispatch weekly patron focused e-blasts campaigns; track engagement and inform about subscriber analytics. Management of social media platforms, TT, IG, LI & Fb. Design social media ads, stories & posts featuring food-art, food preparation videos & weekly specials. Increase traffic across all platforms by sharing creative posts & community content. Ensure 24/7 rolling content. Maintain business contact lists & synchronization of lists with POS. Management of company website: Improve website SEO as well as all other microsites.     The term gastropub was coined in 1991 and stems from the words pub and gastronomy to emphasize not only good beer, but quality food. In other words, a gastropub is when a restaurant marries a pub. Think elevated pub fare meets mouthwatering libations.
